SUPER EAGLE star brother joins FK Palanga on two year deal

Lucky Omeruo, brother of Super Eagles defender Kenneth has signed a two-year contract with FK Palanga in Lithuania.
The 22-year-old winger had previously played for Maltese side Birkirkara F.C from 2011 till 2013 and Pembroke Athleta F.C from 2014 till 2015 London-based agent Akorede Hutman confirmed the transfer to SCORENigeria
"It is true that he has signed and this has caused great celebration for the Omeruo family.

"After considering the different options on the table, we decided to sign with Palanga because the club showed how serious they were about getting quality to the squad.

"The club presented a good offer for a player of his pedigree, so let us see how it goes in the first year of his contract.”

Lucky was named in Nigeria's 30-man provisional roster for the 2013 Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey but was axed from the final roster, and trained with the Dream Team VI ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games.
